Growing up in Vancouver, Canada the natural surroundings and near by wildlife had a large influence on me. I became obsessed with animals and would often read books on bird species rather than storybooks. This interest has carried with me and has become a great source of inspiration for my work today. Having a graphic design background as well my work has become more conceptual with a central idea or theme. I enjoy visualizing ideas and the challenge of making something that is ugly look beautiful.

I currently reside in Amsterdam, Netherlands where I enjoy being inspired by the history, architecture, and personality of this amazing city.
